The annual Varsity fixture takes place in Term 2 of the academic year, with EURFC running out in front of a packed Sandy Park crowd. Traditionally advertised as the South West Derby against Bath, 2019 saw Durham arrive at Sandy Park as Varsity opposition. This season, it is university sport rivals Loughborough who will make the visit to Sandy Park on 23rd February for what promises to be a hugely entertaining evening of rugby.

The annual fixture offers more than just a rugby game; it is a perfect opportunity to escape the mid-term drudgery and enjoy the electric atmosphere of Sandy Park with a crowd 5,000 people strong. Furthermore, you get the chance to watch the Exeter Emeralds perform live during the half-time interval!

It’s the biggest event of the Exeter University sporting calendar and is one not to be missed. Please come down and show your support for your university rugby team and make it a night to remember.
